Michael Rasmussen, DDS, MS
Dr. Michael Rasmussen (or Dr. Razz as his patients call him) grew up in Midland, Texas. As a life-long Longhorns football fan, The University of Texas at Austin was the only option when it came time for him to choose a college. Dr. Razz graduated with a Biochemistry degree. He then moved to Houston and enrolled in UT’s dental school where he served as President of his class. Upon completing his dental degree, Dr. Razz moved to Tennessee to attend the University of Tennessee’s Orthodontic Residency for three years where he also received a Master’s of Science degree researching orthodontic materials. The specialty license he received there was not the most important thing he brought back with him to Texas though. Tennessee is also where he met his wife, Danyelle. If you get a chance to, ask Dr. Razz how they met. It’s a fun story!
When Dr. Razz is not making beautiful smiles, he likes to play guitar or cook something new and exciting. An active member of his church and neighborhood back in Tennessee, Dr. Razz and his wife look forward to becoming integral members of the South Central Texas community. He loves orthodontics because it gives him a chance to create great smiles and forge a special bond with his patients.
