Dr. Colville is a recognized expert in clear aligner treatment.  He started treating patients using  clear aligners 1998 and  helped Align Technology develop the Invisalign branded clear aligner treatment for over 20 years.   He has taught thousands of doctors around the world on clear aligner treatment techniques; and has treated thousands of patients in the Seguin and San Marcos area using clear aligners.

Invisalign® straightens your teeth using a series of clear, customized, removable appliances called aligners. It’s virtually undetectable, which means hardly anyone will know that you’re straightening your teeth.

The Invisalign System combines advanced 3-D computer graphics technology with 100-year-old science of orthodontics. Invisalign branded clear aligners are designed to move your teeth in small steps to the desired final position prescribed by your orthodontist. Each aligner is precisely calibrated and manufactured to fit your teeth at each stage along the way – until the final tooth alignment is achieved.

Your first step is to visit our office to determine if Invisalign is right for you. There are some situations where clear aligners are not the best choice for your treatment – but most tooth alignment problems can be addressed with clear aligner treatment.

Dr. Colville uses Align’s proprietary software to move your teeth in a 3D simulation to create your best alignment, fit, and smile. As a board certified orthodontic specialist, you can rely on his experience and knowledge to guide this tooth movement in a safe and effective manner.

We plan on delivering 2 series of aligners.   The first series will achieve 80-90 percent of the treatment goal, usually in 30 weeks or less.  The second series of aligners is used to do the final details and perfect the bite.  Total treatment time is usually 12 -14 months for our patients who choose clear aligner treatment.   Each aligner is worn for one week and only taken out to eat, brush and floss. As you replace each aligner with the next, your teeth will begin to move gradually — week-by-week until the final alignment prescribed is attained.
